		<description>The story on MacOSXHints in the comment topic has not much to do with this post. That Mac OS X hint does not make much sense to me; and to be sure, it refers to Panther which is rather outdated now. With regard to choosing Finder &gt; Secure Empty Trash, yes, that&#039;s the easiest way to securely empty the trash. The blog post treats those occasions where you forgot to securely empty the trash. Selecting Secure Empty trash, after you normally emptied does not appear to do anything - contrary to the  MacOSX hint mentioned in the previous comment.</description>
