If you don’t want to fill-up your Time Machine backup with dayly or weekly news podcastsm they can easily be excluded.
This can be done via the Time Machine options. You just need to know where the Podcasts are stored and then exclude that folder. The podcast folder lives inside your iTunes folder. It’s quite easy:
